Top 5 Cryptocurrency Apps on iOS in Germany: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the cryptocurrency app market in Germany saw varied performance among the top five applications on iOS. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced notable trends in downloads and active users.

Bitpanda: Kaufe BTC & Krypto started the quarter with a significant surge in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of approximately 46K in mid-January. However, downloads gradually declined, ending March with around 3.5K. Despite this, active users remained relatively high, peaking at over 525K in January before settling at about 378K by the end of March.

Pi Network experienced a notable spike in weekly downloads in mid-February, hitting over 32K. This was mirrored by a rise in active users, which peaked at approximately 220K in late February. The quarter ended with a decrease in both metrics, with downloads at 1.7K and active users at around 161K.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto observed an initial rise in downloads, peaking in mid-January at about 24.7K. However, this was followed by a decline, with weekly downloads dropping to 8.4K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting strong at over 310K in January, but decreasing to about 198K by March's end.

Phantom - Crypto Wallet saw its downloads peak in mid-January at about 28.2K, before experiencing a steady drop to 1.1K by the end of the quarter. Active users reached their highest at 108K in January, later declining to approximately 52K by March.

Coinbase: Buy BTC, ETH, SOL had a peak in downloads in mid-January at about 19.6K, but saw a decline towards the end of March, with downloads at 1.7K. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking at over 421K in January, before decreasing to around 254K by the end of the quarter.
